Welte Group offers resource savings through remanufacturing - with the best quality

The industrial reconditioning of products or individual components, known as remanufacturing, offers considerable ecological and economic benefits: Not only does it make a decisive contribution to reducing raw material and energy consumption to a necessary minimum, it also makes a significant contribution to sustainability. Depending on the product, remanufacturing can save an average of around 70 percent material compared to new production. Remanufacturing therefore generally enables cost savings of 20 to 30 percent compared to new production. At the same time, the process promotes sustainability, conserves resources and protects the environment. Remanufactured drive shafts achieve a comparable quality to new products and the service life is generally identical to that of new parts.

Remanufacturing at Welte

A successful remanufacturing process begins with the identification and collection of used components. The drive shafts are then carefully dismantled and all components are examined in detail by our experts to determine which parts can be reused and which need to be replaced. The next step is a thorough cleaning to remove dirt, oil residue and other contaminants. All worn or damaged parts are then replaced with new components of original quality. After assembly, the reconditioned drive shaft undergoes a final quality check to ensure that it achieves the required service life and quality. The remanufacturing process is completed with a new coat of paint to protect against corrosion. The drive shaft is then packaged according to the customer's specifications.

Experience makes the difference

An experienced and knowledgeable team is crucial for the rapid identification of reusable parts and the efficient implementation of the remanufacturing process. Precise documentation of all process steps and performance specifications ensure consistent quality. We know: Flexibility and a short response time to individual customer requests are necessary to ensure the quality of remanufactured products, increase customer satisfaction and recommend integrating remanufacturing into sustainability initiatives as part of the corporate strategy - this not only contributes to efficiency and cost-effectiveness, but also improves the company's environmental image. By implementing these processes, companies can take full advantage of the ecological and economic benefits of remanufacturing and at the same time make a contribution to sustainability and resource conservation.
