Welte presents online shop at Automechanika

Just in time for Automechanika in Frankfurt, Welte is now offering its customers a platform on which they can place orders from anywhere and at any time and obtain comprehensive information about the product range.

β€˜The shop is particularly relevant for driveshaft service and manufacturing companies. Via our platform, we enable these specialised companies to identify parts based on technical specifications as well as a direct quick search using comparison numbers,’ explains Ulf KΓΌck, Managing Director of Welte Cardan-Service GmbH.

At launch, almost 20,000 different driveshaft items and almost 4,000 parts from the fluid technology category are available in the online shop. To further optimise the shopping experience, Welte plans to expand the master data and develop its own app with additional features in the future. The new online shop is aimed specifically at driveshaft service companies and wholesalers without a TecCom connection and guarantees them convenient processing and fast delivery, which enables optimised warehousing.

For Welte, the digitalised sales department also brings benefits: Order processing becomes significantly more efficient and the error rate can be reduced even further. β€˜With an online shop, we are not limited to a specific geographical location. It opens the doors to an even greater reach for us, as we can now actively develop international markets in this way,’ says Ulf KΓΌck.

At the trade fair in Frankfurt, visitors will have the opportunity to get a first-hand impression of the new online shop and obtain further information.
